Ways to Use Pearled Barley

Add pearl barley grain to soups, stir fries and stews in place of rice for a tasty change. It can also be cooked up as a hot cereal, stirred into salads, or used in stuffing. The mild nutty flavor and tender chewy texture is also wonderful in pilaf or risotto

Preparing Barley
  1. Bring to boil 3 parts of water for 1 part of Barley
  2. Add sprinkle of salt, 1 tsp of organic oil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 to 1/4th hours.
  4. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
